Charlie incorporates a professional and nurturing approach to her practice, integrating both eastern and western approaches into her treatments. She counts musculoskeletal, women's and mental health among her special interests and her style is intuitive with a strong focus on the mind-body connection. When looking at health, Charlie believes in supporting the emotional, mental and physical aspects of healing.
Among her studies, Charlie has completed level six training in Balance Acupuncture, studying with Master Sonia Tan. She has also completed a mentorship program in the renowned clinics of Jane Lyttleton, studying and practicing in women’s health and male and female fertility.
Charlie grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA and became passionate about Chinese medicine after several remarkable experiences with it in her twenties. She believes in her patients and in Chinese medicine's ability to bring the body back into balance so it can function optimally.
Prior to moving to Sydney, Charlie was a Lamaze childbirth educator, birth doula, and lactation consultant. She also served on the board of a non-profit that educated and advocated legislatively for healthy birth practices. A wife and mother of two, Charlie enjoys slow travel, gardening, and listening to stories of the human experience.

Charlie completed her TCM studies at Endeavour College of Natural Health in Sydney, Australia and holds a BHSc in Acupuncture. She is a registered member of The Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) and The Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). All of her treatments are eligible for private health reimbursement.
