Menopause & Hormone Health Acupuncture
In Chinese medicine, menopause isn't an illness to be fixed. It's a transition, the start of what I like to call your third chapter. But that doesn't mean you have to white-knuckle your way through the broken sleep, the night sweats and the days when your brain feels full of fog. I work with women through perimenopause, menopause and the years beyond, and with anyone whose cycle feels out of balance.

Perimenopause & Menopause
Women often come to me for:
-
hot flushes and night sweats
-
broken or restless sleep
-
anxiety, irritability and low mood
-
brain fog and fatigue
-
changes to their cycle in the lead-up to menopause
In Chinese medicine, we often see these symptoms as a shift in the balance of Yin and Yang. Treatment aims to gently restore that balance, using acupuncture, herbs, and diet and lifestyle advice suited to you. Acupuncture can be used on its own or alongside hormone therapy from your doctor, I'm always happy to work with them.
Cycle and hormone health at any age
Hormone health isn't only about menopause. I also see people for:
-
irregular, heavy or painful periods
-
PMS and cycle-related mood changes
-
cycle-related headaches and migraines
-
support alongside medical care for conditions like PMOS/PCOS and endometriosis

Your plan. Many women come weekly at first, then space visits out as they start to feel more like themselves.
-
Follow-up visits will be 45-60 minutes. We will talk through any relevant updates. Acupuncture, plus herbs, dietary and lifestyle advice where helpful.
Private health rebates can be claimed on the spot.
